We Help Clients Sell Collectibles

Spirit & Space is one of the very few professional organizing companies that helps clients sell items of value. Because of that, other organizers invite us to help when their clients have valuables to sell. This week’s project was a classic example of how we help clients.  

Mendi Funk Consulting partnered with us to help a client moving to a smaller house. Earlier this year we consulted with the client on prospects for selling items she no longer wanted. We immediately found buyers for rock and jazz albums as well as silver. After the decluttering process was done, the client had a basement full of items for sale.

Last week we facilitated a pickup by a southern Indiana dealer who bought a large lot of antiques as well as hundreds of dollars of “smalls,” or collectibles and home goods that are of a smaller size, ideal for display cabinets and shelves. We then coordinated a sale which attracted nine local dealers with whom we’ve cultivated relationships, who bought over $1500 of goods. Today I’ll deliver art and other collectibles for sale at global auction Everything But The House. Items not sold items went to support the good work of Exodus Refugee Immigration, The Mustard Seed of Central Indiana and Goodwill.
