A Week in the Life: Decluttering, Donating, Doing Good
It’s been quite a week for the Spirit & Space team! Our organizers continue to help clients declutter and restore tidy calm in their homes. Meanwhile, my focus has been slightly different, including:
picking up medical donations, jewelry and auction items from a client
dropping off electronic recycling as well as vases and medical, maternity and professional donations at 5 nonprofits
coordinating a donation of household items for Exodus Refugee Immigration from another client, as well as picking up items for auction and local sales
meeting 7 local dealers for sales of clients’ unwanted items, supporting the local economy
delivering items from 6 clients at Everything But The House (EBTH) in Cincinnati
meeting with and touring EBTH to share perspective and engage conversation with the team that supports global online sales for S&S clients
focusing on coursework that empowers me to gain greater perspective on our clients, in order to more effectively meet their needs
