$100,00 Milestone - Wowzers!

On Monday it happened: With the sale of a large collection of pandas (it was pandamonium! 🙂) we’ve given over $100,000 to clients for collectibles sales since we started that part of the business last year.

“Collectibles” is a loose term. We help clients sell items of value that they no longer want – art, coins, silver, gold, jewelry, books, antiques, fine home goods, crystal, tools, mid century modern decor, vintage and everything in between! We’ve even found buyers for a car and a custom-built cherry executive desk set. The biggest money makers for clients are definitely silver, jewelry and coins.

Sometimes we are the voice of reality, letting clients know that what they think has value just isn’t valued in the market these days (Beanie Babies, Lladro and Hummels, anyone?). But then again, sometimes we’re the ones who save the vintage toys, homegoods, textiles, appliances, lamps and other older items that the client thinks should go to Goodwill or the trash. We love saving things from going into the landfill, and our vintage buyers love the treasures we find.

Besides working with nationwide partners such as a top coin dealer, a national refinery, Everything But The House (EBTH) and speciality auction houses, we’ve built relationships with two dozen local dealers.
