What is “whole-home organizing” and why would someone want help with it?

There are various needs for the whole-home approach; these are some recent examples:

·      An ongoing Indy client initiated the process of decluttering his home after decades of living there (and after inheriting it from his parents); knowing he’ll need to move in the coming years, he wants help with the project without burdening his daughter.

·      San Diego clients had just moved into a home together; they sought help combining households and creating new organizational systems.

·      Another Indy client was frustrated that her family’s belongings weren’t organized for greatest efficiency; she sought guidance for overall space planning that accommodates various organizational styles.

·      The Colorado S&S client recently moved back into her home after a renovation; we helped restore order and plan the space for efficiency and aesthetic appeal.

·      Our Delaware client has lived in his home for more than a year but hadn’t finished unpacking and setting up; while renovations continue over time, we’re helping to gather belongings from a storage unit, plan home set up and storage, and settle into the space afresh.

As the name says, a “whole-home” project impacts spaces throughout the home. From closets and kitchens to bedrooms and bathrooms…from downsizing and donating to decluttering and decorating...Spirit & Space brings a fresh eye, experience and skill with organization and space planning, and a strong work ethic and speedy pace that helps the client meet their goals in less time than if they tackled it themselves. Some clients work right alongside us, but others are engaged in remote professional or other work while guiding the home organization project and answering questions along the way.

Have a challenge ahead of you like these? Feeling overwhelmed with your space? Check out the Spirit & Space website to get a sense of our approach and see pictures of past projects; you can schedule a call or send me a message from the site. I’d love to hear about your project and explore the possibility of helping you.
