Letting Go

How appropriate! This sign is in Rochester, NH, where I spent the day helping a client open, sort, and make decisions on items in a ton of boxes in her basement. The piles of boxes had weighed on her since she moved into the house last year; she said it was completely overwhelming to consider the work needed to go through everything. Today she was ready to make decisions, and we plowed through it all! Her RAV4 was packed to the gills with a Goodwill delivery. She was so surprised and delighted that we got through everything!

On my way out of town, I took four boxes to the postal center to be sent via FedEx to EBTH for auction. My client was ready to let go of Waterford crystal goblets and a beautiful collection of glass paperweights given to her by her godmother years ago. I was glad to be able to facilitate a sale for her. Yesterday, I sent a piece of artwork to EBTH and a coin collection to a top coin dealer for another client here in NH.
